Why I Started Childhood Corner

For as long as I can remember, I’ve loved the magic of childhood.

Growing up, my best memories weren’t made in front of a screen — they were made climbing trees, splashing in puddles, and laughing until my cheeks hurt. That sense of freedom, creativity, and connection shaped who I am today.

After more than 25 years as an early childhood educator, I knew it was time to build something personal — something rooted in joy, trust, and intentional care.

That’s how Childhood Corner was born.

This is more than just a daycare. It’s a safe, nurturing space where children can grow at their own pace, express their feelings, explore nature, build friendships, and develop life-long social and emotional skills — all while having fun.

I believe in:

• Play as learning — because imagination builds brains.
• Home-cooked meals that nourish the body and soul.
• Outdoor exploration, whenever possible.
• Respect for every child’s uniqueness.

At Childhood Corner, we don’t rush childhood — we celebrate it.

Whether it's finger painting, storytelling, gardening, or simply sharing a meal, every moment here is designed to help kids feel seen, supported, and loved.
